More about the artist...

Wayne BKS completed a three-year course at the AAA school of advertising in Johannesburg in 2003 – It was during this time that he started doing graffiti. He later relocated back to Cape town in 2004 and worked for a few years in the advertising industry – gaining invaluable knowledge. He later started a freelancing career doing graphic design and street art murals.

While juggling a full-time career in advertising, as well as gaining ground as a graffiti artist, he created and managed hip hop events together with artists who have now become household names in the music industry. During this time, he created Conform – which was his way of bridging the gap between street art and graphic design.

His work has been featured in international publications as well as local magazines and newspapers (2006 present day) – Including but not limited to – Graphotism (UK), Beautiful Decay (USA), Cape Etc, Cape Times, Blunt magazine & One small seed to name a few.

For the past 5 years (2015 – present day), he has been consistently spray painting many personal murals and commissioned work in Woodstock, Saltriver, Observatory and the Cape Town Cbd. Previous and current clients include (but not limited to) – Franke, Samsung, Woolworths, Radisson Red Hotel, Daddy Long legs Hotel, Woodstock Exchange Matchbox Africa, Maboneng.com, City of Cape Town Government, Sportscene, Sos Children’s Village, iKamva Labantu, Hillsong, Dreamfeul, Alpha Longboards  & The Old Biscuit Mill.
